MELAMMU STORE REFUND, RETURNS AND THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTION POLICY
1. Definitions
"Melammu", "we", "us" or "our"
Means Melammu Store, a United Kingdom clothing designer and retailer.
"Consumer", "you" or "your"
Means a person purchasing Products from Melammu for personal, private use.
"Product"
Means any clothing, apparel, accessory, artwork, merchandise or other item offered for sale
by Melammu.
"Design"
Means the original artwork, graphics, branding, logos, text, styling, creative concepts and
other intellectual property created, owned or licensed by Melammu.
"Third Party Maker"
Means an independent third-party company engaged by Melammu to manufacture, print,
embroider, assemble, package or otherwise produce Products in accordance with
Melammu's designs and specifications.
"Third Party Shipping Provider"
Means any independent courier, postal service, freight company or logistics provider
responsible for delivering Products.
"Fault"
Means a defect affecting a Product's manufacture, materials, workmanship, construction,
stitching, print quality or fabric quality which causes the Product to fail to meet reasonable
standards or applicable legal requirements.
2. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or limits any rights provided under:
• The Consumer Rights Act 2015;
• The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges)
Regulations 2013; or
• Any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
Where this Policy conflicts with mandatory legal rights, the applicable law shall prevail.3. Made-to-Order and Custom Production
Melammu Products are generally produced on demand following receipt of an order.
Products are manufactured by independent Third Party Makers using Melammu's original
designs.
Where a Product is manufactured specifically in response to an order, printed to
order, embroidered to order, or otherwise produced on demand, Consumers
acknowledge that production may begin shortly after purchase. Such Products may
not be eligible for cancellation, return or exchange solely because the Consumer
changes their mind, orders the wrong size, or no longer wishes to receive the
Product, except where required by applicable law. As many Products are created
specifically in response to an individual order, production may commence shortly
after purchase.
Consumers acknowledge that products produced to order may not be eligible for
cancellation, return or exchange simply because the Consumer has changed their
mind, except where required by applicable law.
Where a Product has been personalised, customised or produced specifically for a
Consumer, statutory cancellation rights may not apply.
Sizing and Fit Policy
3A. Sizing Information
Melammu provides sizing guides, garment measurements and other sizing information to
assist Consumers in selecting the most suitable size before placing an order.
Consumers are strongly encouraged to review all sizing information carefully and compare
the published measurements with their own measurements and garments prior to purchase.
As Products are generally produced to order, Melammu cannot guarantee that a particular
size will provide a desired fit for every individual body shape or preference.
Consumer Responsibility for Size Selection
By placing an order, Consumers acknowledge that they have reviewed the sizing information
provided and selected their chosen size accordingly.
Melammu shall not be responsible where:
• the ordered size does not fit as expected;
• the Consumer prefers a looser or tighter fit after delivery;
• the Consumer selected an incorrect size; or
• the Product otherwise conforms to the published measurements and description.Products Matching Published Measurements
Where a Product is manufactured substantially in accordance with the measurements, sizing
information and description published at the time of purchase, a request for return, exchange
or refund based solely upon fit, comfort or personal preference may be declined.
Incorrectly Manufactured Sizes
If a Product is materially different from the published sizing specifications or has been
incorrectly manufactured, Consumers should contact Melammu within a reasonable period
of receiving the Product.
Where evidence demonstrates that the Product does not substantially correspond with the
published sizing information, Melammu may provide a replacement, refund or other remedy
in accordance with applicable law.
Consumers may be asked to provide photographs, measurements or other evidence to
assist in assessing the claim.
Faulty Products
Nothing in this Sizing and Fit Policy affects a Consumer's rights where a Product is faulty,
defective, not as described, not of satisfactory quality or otherwise fails to comply with
applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
4. Faulty, Damaged or Defective Products
Consumers remain entitled to remedies available under UK law where Products:
• are not of satisfactory quality;
• are not fit for purpose;
• do not match their description;
• arrive damaged; or
• contain manufacturing defects.
Examples include:
• poor stitching;
• physicalfabric defects;
• holes or tears not caused by normal use;
• significant colour discrepancies;
• defective construction;
• manufacturing errors.Where a Product is determined to be faulty, Melammu may provide a repair, replacement,
refund, price reduction or other remedy as required by law.
5. Manufacturing Responsibility
Melammu creates and supplies the Designs used on Products.
The physical production of Products is performed by independent Third Party Makers.
Where a Product defect arises from manufacturing processes, print quality, stitching,
garment construction, fabric quality, materials or workmanship, Melammu shall investigate
the matter and may seek reimbursement, replacement costs, compensation or other
remedies from the relevant Third Party Maker.
Consumers agree to provide reasonable evidence of any alleged defect, including
photographs where requested.
6. Manufacturing Quality Claims
Where a complaint concerns:
• stitching quality;
• fabric quality;
• material defects;
• workmanship;
• printing defects; or
• manufacturing standards,
Melammu will assess the complaint and may refer relevant evidence to the Third Party
Maker responsible for production.
Melammu will make reasonable efforts to secure replacement products, refunds or
compensation where appropriate.
However, Consumers acknowledge that manufacturing assessments may require review by
the Third Party Maker and that final manufacturing determinations may depend upon
evidence provided and the policies of the producing company.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights available to Consumers.
7. Delivery and Shipping
Delivery services are carried out by independent Third Party Shipping Providers.
Melammu will make reasonable efforts to assist with:
• lost parcels;• damaged deliveries;
• tracking issues;
• delivery disputes; and
• courier investigations.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
8. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Shipments
Where a Product is lost, damaged or materially delayed in transit, Consumers should contact
Melammu as soon as reasonably possible.
Melammu may investigate the matter with the relevant Third Party Shipping Provider and
seek recovery, replacement or compensation where appropriate.
Consumers may be asked to cooperate with any reasonable investigation.
9. Returns and Refund Requests
To request a refund, replacement or remedy, Consumers must provide:
• their order number;
• details of the issue;
• photographs where relevant; and
• any other reasonably requested information.
Melammu reserves the right to request return of the Product where appropriate and lawful.
Approved refunds will normally be issued using the original payment method.
10. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Melammu shall not be responsible for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances
beyond its reasonable control, including:
• courier disruptions;
• postal delays;
• customs delays;
• industrial action;
• severe weather;
• governmental restrictions; or
• other force majeure events.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.11. Third-Party Production and Shipping Acknowledgement
Consumers acknowledge that Products are manufactured and delivered through
independent third-party service providers.
Whilst Melammu will use reasonable efforts to pursue claims, investigate complaints and
seek remedies from such third parties where appropriate, Melammu cannot guarantee the
outcome of any dispute, claim or recovery process involving those independent providers.
Consumers further acknowledge that independent providers may maintain their own
production standards, claims procedures and operational policies.
Nothing in this section excludes any statutory rights available to Consumers under
applicable law.

Means an independent third-party company engaged by Melammu to manufacture, print,
embroider, package or otherwise prepare Products in accordance with Melammu's designs.
"Third Party Shipping Provider"
Means an independent courier, postal service, logistics provider or freight company
responsible for transporting Products to Consumers.
"Business Day"
Means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales.
2. General Shipping Information
Melammu products are generally manufactured to order and shipped following completion of
production.
Delivery services are performed by independent Third Party Shipping Providers.
All delivery timeframes displayed on the Melammu website are estimates only unless
expressly stated otherwise.
While Melammu aims to ensure prompt dispatch and delivery, delivery times may vary
depending on:
• production schedules;
• courier capacity;
• customs procedures;
• seasonal demand;
• weather conditions;
• public holidays; and
• other circumstances outside Melammu's reasonable control.3. Production and Dispatch Times
As many Melammu Products are produced on demand, production must generally be
completed before dispatch.
Estimated production and dispatch times are provided for guidance only and do not
constitute guaranteed delivery dates.
Production times may be extended during periods of increased demand, equipment
maintenance, supplier delays or other operational circumstances.
4. Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery dates are provided as a convenience only.
Melammu does not guarantee delivery on any particular date unless expressly agreed in
writing.
Consumers acknowledge that delivery services are performed by independent Third Party
Shipping Providers whose performance and operational decisions are outside Melammu's
direct control.
5. Delivery Address Accuracy
Consumers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information provided at checkout is
accurate and complete.
Where an incorrect, incomplete or outdated address is supplied by the Consumer:
• delays may occur;
• additional delivery charges may arise;
• redelivery fees may be incurred; and
• refunds may be unavailable where a Product cannot be recovered.
Melammu shall not be responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate delivery information
provided by the Consumer.
6. Delivery Completion
Delivery shall generally be considered complete when the Product is delivered to the
address provided by the Consumer.
Proof of delivery supplied by the relevant Third Party Shipping Provider may be relied upon
by Melammu when determining whether delivery has occurred.Consumers should ensure that arrangements are in place for receipt of deliveries where
appropriate.
7. Lost Parcels
If a Consumer believes a parcel has been lost, they should notify Melammu as soon as
reasonably possible.
Melammu will make reasonable efforts to:
• trace the shipment;
• contact the relevant Third Party Shipping Provider;
• open delivery investigations; and
• pursue recovery of the Product where possible.
Consumers agree to cooperate with any reasonable investigation and provide information
requested by Melammu or the Third Party Shipping Provider.
A parcel will not normally be treated as lost until the relevant carrier's investigation process
has been completed or the carrier has formally declared the shipment lost.
8. Delayed Deliveries
Occasional delays may arise due to factors beyond Melammu's reasonable control.
Consumers acknowledge that estimated delivery windows may be affected by:
• courier disruptions;
• transport issues;
• customs processing;
• weather events;
• industrial action;
• security checks; and
• periods of unusually high demand.
Melammu will make reasonable efforts to assist Consumers experiencing significant delivery
delays.
9. Damaged Deliveries
Where a Product arrives visibly damaged, Consumers should:
• retain all packaging where possible;
• photograph the Product and packaging;
• notify Melammu promptly; and
• provide any evidence reasonably requested.Melammu may investigate the matter with the relevant Third Party Shipping Provider and
Third Party Maker before determining the appropriate remedy.
10. Failed Delivery Attempts
Where delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances attributable to the Consumer,
including:
• absence from the delivery address;
• refusal of delivery;
• failure to collect from a designated collection point; or
• inaccurate delivery information,
additional charges may apply before redelivery is arranged.
Where Products are returned to sender as a result of such circumstances, Melammu
reserves the right to deduct any unrecoverable costs incurred.
11. Third-Party Shipping Providers
Consumers acknowledge that delivery services are performed by independent Third Party
Shipping Providers.
Whilst Melammu will actively assist Consumers and use reasonable efforts to:
• trace shipments;
• investigate delivery issues;
• recover lost items;
• secure compensation;
• obtain replacements; and
• pursue claims against carriers,
Melammu cannot control the actions, decisions or operational procedures of independent
shipping providers.
Accordingly, Melammu cannot guarantee the outcome of any investigation, claim or recovery
process conducted by a Third Party Shipping Provider.
12. Consumer Cooperation
Where a delivery issue arises, Consumers agree to provide reasonable assistance and
information necessary to enable Melammu to investigate the matter.
Failure to cooperate with a reasonable investigation may delay resolution of a claim.13. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Melammu shall not be responsible for delays, disruptions or failures arising from
circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• severe weather;
• natural disasters;
• war or civil unrest;
• cyber incidents affecting service providers;
• governmental action;
• customs delays;
• industrial disputes;
• transport network failures; or
• force majeure events.
Nothing in this section excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
14. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts or limits any rights available to Consumers
under applicable UK law.
Where any provision of this Policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection legislation,
the relevant legislation shall prevail.
